History

Grace EFC began in 1980 as a Bible study in the home of Leonard and Ruth Page. Originally, the group was taught by a Southern Baptist pastor from Fort Dodge, IA. As the group grew, ten families decided to incorporate a church and to become an independent Bible Church. Leonard Page suggested the name Grace Bible Church.

The new church met in homes, the middle and elementary schools, various halls and finally rented the Memorial Hall on a long term basis. In 1989, Grace Bible Church joined the Evangelical Free Church as Grace EFC. In 1995, the present building was constructed and 75 members moved in. 2006 saw the construction of a major new addition adding a larger sanctuary and friendship foyer.

God has grown the Grace family from a handful of believers gathered in a living room for prayer and encouragement into a much larger family of believers who gather regularly for Christ-centered Bible preaching and blended contemporary worship, Grace Groups (small group ministry), Men's and Women's Bible Studies, Discipleship groups and Youth ministries including Sunday Children's Church, GraceKIDS, and Junior and Senior High youth groups.
