Pastor Brian Friedl – Lead Pastor

My family and I have been a part of Grace Evangelical Free Church since 2014. Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving as an elder for more than seven years before joining the staff in 2023. In 2025, I stepped into the role of Lead Pastor, and it is one of the greatest joys of my life to shepherd this congregation and point people to Jesus.

My wife and I have been blessed with 22 children and an ever-growing number of grandchildren. Our home has always been full of life, laughter, and love, and family continues to be one of our greatest joys and blessings. I am passionate about seeing the church be the church—a community of believers who love God, love one another, and serve joyfully. One of my greatest delights in ministry is helping people recognize the unique skills, abilities, and spiritual gifts God has given them and encouraging them to use those gifts for His glory.

It is my prayer that Grace Church would be a place where people grow deeply in their faith, find belonging in the family of God, and step boldly into the mission of making disciples in Eagle Grove and beyond.

Pastor Isai Guerrero - Director of Hispanic Outreach

Pastor Isai Guererro grew up in Rio Bravo, Mexico and first trusted Jesus as a young boy. He has served as Director of Hispanic Outreach at Grace since the Fall of 2018 and continues as Senior Pastor of Centro Cristiano Vida Nueva Church in Belmond, Iowa where he has served since 2005. Pastor Isai received training for pastoral ministry at Magdiel Bible Institute in Matamoros, Mexico graduating in 2005.

Pastor Isai met his wife Claudia while preaching as a seminary student in the church where Claudia was working in youth ministry. Presently, Claudia works for the Belmond School District as an ELL teacher (English Language Learners). Isai and Claudia were married in 2006 and blessed with their son, Abdiel (Abdi) in 2016 and daughter Aisa in 2020. Abdi is a fun, loving little boy who enjoys helping mom and dad in the church (and dinosaurs!). Abdi and Aisa are answers to prayer and a testimony of God’s power. Isai and Claudia have a passion for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serving the fast-growing Latino population of North Central Iowa.
